What is Smol Art Mart?

Smol Art Mart is an annual (free!) art market based in Seattle, WA, created to foster the PNW art community as well as empower new and established artists to grow their art businesses.Although Seattle has large craft events, there is no prominent community for emerging artists. We hope to give them an opportunity to try vending at events. If artists don't want to vend or don't have merch, we have opportunities to join the community through volunteering.Created by artists, we are a small non-profit volunteer group under the 501(c)(3) non-profit: The Millennial Empowerment Foundation.

Smol Art Mart History

  • 2023: Smol Art Mart hosted five free summer markets, each filled with creativity and passion, with 15–20 artists per event at local plant shop Peace, Love & Happiness Club in Fremont.

  • 2024: Smol Art Mart grew to 80 artists, with over 200 applicants, at one large 2-day event at the Queen Anne Community Center.

  • 2025: Smol Art Mart booked our largest venue to date at the Magnuson Park Hangar 30, with 150 artists and over 300 applicants.

  • 2026: We are back at the Magnuson Park Hangar 30 with 150+ artists and over 500 applicants, our largest event yet.

We are extremely grateful to the talented artists and dedicated volunteers, as Smol Art Mart would not have been possible without your contributions. Thank you all!

Sponsorship Opportunities

Historically, the organizers have been hosting Smol Art Mart out of pocket and taking donations from the community. As it continues to scale, we are looking for support to continue running the event by: booking the venue, renting furniture, providing water for artists, buying supplies for free activities, advertising, and everything that comes with putting together a large show.We have many tiers available and opportunities include being highlighted on our social media, enhanced brand exposure, a vendor table, and more.Ready to work with us?
